In Southern California, no car means no job. HHN partners with state and federal clean-mobility programs to put grant-funded, Hub Certified hybrids in the hands of working families — built and warrantied by our own techs.
Accountability
Each funded vehicle carries a build record, source-of-funds record, inspection evidence, delivery acknowledgment, and scheduled health checks.
Measured Outcomes
Program reporting tracks safe miles enabled, job and education access, high-voltage reliability, avoided emissions, and service completion.
Funding Is Verified
Displayed program amounts are eligibility references, not awards. Final support depends on location, program rules, available funds, and agency approval.
Working families at the pump
Low-to-moderate income households in CalEnviroScreen priority zip codes. Verified via CARB Clean Cars 4 All, EBT, or county social services referral. No credit score gate.
HHN-built Prius, Hub Certified
Second-life Prius reconditioned by Hub Certified techs. New traction battery (HHN-rebuilt), full inverter and inspection. Warranted 36 months / 36k miles on the high-voltage system.
Grants, not gifts
Stacked from CARB Clean Cars 4 All, EPA Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, USDOT Charging & Fueling Infrastructure, CA Climate Investments, and county equitable-mobility funds.
Family applies
Single-page intake through county social services, school district, or in-network shop.
HHN sources the donor car
Auction, insurance buyback, or trade-in pulled from the network.
Certified tech rebuilds it
Hub Certified shop does the pack rebuild, full safety inspection, and quality log to the ledger.
Grant covers the cost
Stacked subsidies pay the shop directly. Family pays $0 or a token co-pay (sliding scale).
Lifetime support
Free annual HV health scan via Pulse. Free first recondition if the pack drops below spec inside 5 yrs.
